Hearing Assessment for Children (3+ Age)
30 Minutes Appointment
- Detailed history of ear health Otoscopy
- Pure Tone Audiometry ( Conventional or Special tests)
- Middle ear function test
- Speech Audiometry depending on age & development
- Recommendation of appropriate follow-up and/or management (if required)
- Written comprehensive report to the referrer, parents and third party (e.g. school)
- Medical Referral not required
Hearing Assessment for Adults
60 Minutes Appointment
- Detailed history of ear health & hearing
- Otoscopy
- Pure Tone Audiometry
- Middle ear function test
- Speech Audiometry ( Speech perception in Quiet & in Noise)
- Detailed discussion on results tailored to your history, individual circumstances & findings
- Recommendation of appropriate follow-up, management (as required)
- Comprehensive written report to yourself, your referrer or third party as requested
- Medical Referral not required

Auditory Processing Disorder (APD)
Up to 2 Hours Appointment
We perform a thorough diagnostic Auditory Processing Disorder assessment for children over 7 years of age and adults who have auditory processing difficulties. Younger children cannot be assessed because the normal variability in brain function across younger children is so marked that accurate test interpretation is not possible.
