NDIS (National Disability Insuarance Scheme)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) began its national rollout in 2016 across Australia.

The NDIS is a new way of providing support/funding to Australian citizens under the age of 65 with a permanent disability, including hearing loss.

This is a huge step forward for those in Australia with hearing loss. Up until now there have been no funds available for those with hearing loss who are older than 26 years and not on a pension. Support may include individual personal care, access to community services and therapies and essential equipment required.

Manning Audiology is an accredited partner of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and is able to support those with hearing difficulties lead a better quality of life with the rehabilitation of their hearing.  Our advice is to apply early, given the lengthy processing time. Remember you will require a recent hearing test and report to support your application form.

Manning Audiology is here to help.  Visit ndis.gov.au or call them on 1800 800 110 to request an access form or make an appointment to see any of our audiologists.

Tailored Interest Free Payment Plans

We wanted to make hearing devices more affordable.

We have partnered with Humm (Interest Free Payment Plan) so you can make a purchase and pay for it over time in convenient fortnightly instalments. Talk to your Manning Audiology Audiolost about this plan.

One of the great benefits of a Humm payment plan is that you never pay interest on the amount you owe. You will pay an establishment fee between $35 and $90 to set up your account, and this is payable over the term of the plan. There is a monthly account keeping fee of $3.50 which will be direct debited whilst your account remains active and a $2.95 payment processing fee that is included with each fortnightly payment. You know exactly how much you will get charged as long as you stick with your payment schedule, best of all there is No Interest Ever!

It’s easy to apply. You can either apply at a No Interest Ever! retailer as you are making your purchase or you can apply online before you shop. Your application will be assessed by our standard credit approval process.
